Founder & Lead Investigator
Charles founded First Call Paranormal after decades of personal paranormal experiences across the Mid-Atlantic. What began as a private obsession became a methodical, evidence-based practice that has grown into one of the most respected investigation organizations on the East Coast. He has led hundreds of investigations and is regarded as one of the region's most rigorous paranormal researchers.

Rob is the team's technical backbone — the investigator who keeps the equipment running, the data organized, and the methodology honest. With a background in electronics and systems engineering, he can identify conventional explanations for anomalous readings with precision. When Rob cannot explain something, the team pays close attention. He leads the most technically demanding investigations and oversees all equipment calibration and maintenance.

Audio & EVP Specialist
Megan has one of the sharpest ears on the East Coast paranormal circuit. With a background in audio production and sound design, she joined First Call and quickly built the most comprehensive EVP archive in the Mid-Atlantic region. Her ability to isolate, enhance, and authenticate anomalous audio has produced some of the team's most compelling evidence — recordings that have been featured in national paranormal publications and reviewed by independent analysts.

Case Manager & Scientist
London brings a level of scientific credibility to First Call Paranormal that is virtually unmatched in the field. By day, she is a research scientist actively working on cancer treatment development — applying rigorous laboratory methodology, peer-reviewed standards, and data-driven analysis to some of the most complex problems in modern medicine. By night, she brings those exact same standards to the paranormal. Every piece of evidence First Call collects passes through London's review process before it is authenticated or dismissed. She applies the scientific method without compromise — controlling for variables, eliminating conventional explanations, and demanding reproducibility before drawing any conclusion. If London confirms something is unexplained, the team knows it genuinely is. She also manages all active cases, coordinates client intake, and ensures every family who reaches out receives the care and professionalism they deserve.

First Call Founded
Charles Kerner conducts his first formal investigation at Antietam Battlefield following a personal encounter he could not explain. First Call Paranormal is established as a private research group.
The Antietam EVP Archive Begins
After capturing compelling audio evidence at Antietam, the team begins systematic EVP documentation at the battlefield. The archive now spans 140+ hours and is considered the most comprehensive of its kind.
Doc Weitzel Joins the Team
Ken 'Doc' Weitzel joins First Call, bringing medical expertise and clinical observation skills that transform how the team assesses witness experiences and environmental factors in the field. Historical research becomes a core pillar of every investigation, distinguishing the team from recreational ghost hunters.
Ghost Walking Tours Launch
First Call opens its investigations to the public through guided ghost walking tours. The Gettysburg After Dark tour sells out within 48 hours of its first announcement.
The Paranormal Museum Opens
After years of accumulating artifacts and evidence, First Call opens the Paranormal Museum to the public. The Victorian Séance Room becomes an immediate landmark attraction.
12,000 Tour Guests & Counting
First Call surpasses 12,000 cumulative tour guests across all routes. The team expands its investigation territory and launches the Eastern State Penitentiary partnership program.

Pre-Investigation Research
Before setting foot on any site, Dr. Voss conducts a full historical review — death records, property histories, newspaper archives, and firsthand accounts. We know the history before we investigate the activity.
Controlled Field Investigation
Investigations follow a documented protocol. Baseline readings are established, equipment is calibrated, and all team members maintain detailed logs. Every anomaly is cross-checked against environmental conditions.
Evidence Analysis & Reporting
All audio, visual, and sensor data is analyzed post-investigation. Nadia's audio lab processes every recording. Findings are documented in a formal case report, and evidence is preserved in our permanent archive.
